Duran Learning ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use teachers.duranlearning.com.

Information You Provide

• Account information: Email address, first name, last name, state, and county when you create an account
• Phone number: Collected when you complete your profile, and used for text messages only if you opt in (see section 4)
• Test preference: Which certification exam you are preparing for (FTCE, Praxis)
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your full card number

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, practice test scores, topic progress, questions answered
• Device information: Browser type, device type, IP address
• Referral data: How you found our site (e.g., search engine, social media, direct link)

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the service: Deliver practice tests, track your progress, personalize your dashboard
• Process payments: Charge your subscription and send receipts
• Communicate with you: Send login codes, welcome emails, subscription confirmations, and important account updates
• Improve our product: Analyze usage patterns to make the course better
• Marketing: Send occasional product updates or tips (you can unsubscribe at any time)

4. Text Messages

If you check one or both of the text-message boxes when you complete your profile, we will text the number you gave us. The first box covers class reminders and account updates; the second, which is separate, covers recurring marketing texts about new classes, offers, and sales. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can create and use your account with both boxes unchecked.

Your phone number and your consent to receive text messages will never be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We keep a record of each consent (when it was given, on which page, and the version of the notice you saw) as proof that you asked for the messages. The full program terms are at Text Message Terms.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

• Stripe: Payment processing — Stripe handles your payment information securely under their own privacy policy
• SendGrid: Email delivery for login codes, receipts, and communications
• Twilio: Text message delivery for the messages you opt in to
• Google Cloud Platform: Hosting and database infrastructure

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database access, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
• Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is designed for adults preparing for teacher certification exams. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
